BOND Aviation in the news:
Ex-Jet Edge CEO is Bombardier's $1.7 billion mystery customer: Private Jet Card Comparisons
Head of marketing
BOND Aviation is an emerging fractional private aviation company focused on delivering a consistently elevated travel experience through thoughtful design, operational excellence, and personalized service. Built from the ground up, Bond Aviation is redefining what it means to own and fly privately, prioritizing reliability, continuity, and attention to detail over transactional charter models.
As the company prepares for its operational launch, BOND Aviation is investing early in building a brand that reflects discretion, quality, and modern luxury. The goal is not only to provide exceptional aviation services but to create a connected experience that resonates with discerning travelers who value consistency, trust, and community.
POSITION SUMMARY
BOND Aviation is redefining fractional jet ownership—and we’re looking for a Head of Marketing to build the brand from the ground up.
Backed by KKR and led by Bill Papariella (former Jet Edge CEO), BOND Aviation has placed a landmark $1.7B order with Bombardier and is launching in 2027 with a radically premium model: fewer owners per jet, flight attendants on every flight, and a white-glove experience throughout.
This is a rare opportunity to:
Establish and own the brand and positioning ahead of launch
Shape identity, messaging, and end-to-end experiences
Operate hands-on in a founder-led, high-growth environment
The role is based in NYC, with in-office collaboration and frequent travel. If building an iconic luxury brand from day one excites you, we’d love to speak with you.
Core Responsibilities
Define and execute BOND’s overall brand and marketing strategy ahead of operational launch, establishing a clear and differentiated market position.
Own all brand expression, ensuring consistency across visual identity, tone, messaging, and storytelling.
Lead the creation of high-quality marketing collateral across digital, print, video and experiential channels.
Serve as the primary point of contact and decision-maker for external marketing, creative, and experiential agencies, providing clear direction and expectations.
Conceptualize, plan, and execute premium events and experiences that align with BOND’s brand and engage its target audience.
Partner closely with the founding team to translate vision into actionable marketing strategies, bringing proactive ideas and recommendations.
Represent the brand externally in meetings, events, and brand-facing interactions.
Initially operate as a hands-on individual contributor while laying the foundation to hire and develop additional marketing support.
Build scalable marketing processes suitable for a growing, founder-led organization.
Work in the office and travel frequently, and on short notice, to support leadership collaboration, events, and brand-building initiatives.
qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in marketing, brand, or experiential roles.
Experience within luxury, premium, or lifestyle brands; private aviation experience is not required.
Proven ability to lead end-to-end marketing initiatives, including brand development, collateral creation, and event execution.
Experience managing external agencies and vendors, with the ability to set vision and drive outcomes independently.
Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-moving, early-stage, or founder-led environments without significant structure or oversight.
Experience in an early-stage startup, re-brand or pre-launch preferred.
Polished communicator with strong executive presence and the ability to engage credibly with senior leaders and high-profile audiences.
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and self-directed with a strong sense of ownership.
Highly self-directed operator with a builder mentality.
Strong judgment in defining and enforcing “premium” standards across messaging, design, and production; consistent track record of high-quality execution.
Strategic mindset with the ability to operate as a trusted advisor to founders and senior leadership, providing clear recommendations supported by data, market insight, and sound judgment.
Strong communication skills; capable of supporting leadership in investor conversations and external narratives.
Eagerness and ability to travel extensively and maintain a flexible schedule.
