POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner and operational leader responsible for driving high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives and ensuring organizational priorities stay on track.
This role combines hands‑on execution with strategic insight delivering analysis, materials, and solutions while enabling effective executive decision‑making.
The Chief of Staff anticipates needs, streamlines workflows, and manages communication flow to maximize leadership focus. With the ability to move fluidly across functions, lead change management efforts, and apply Lean process improvement, this role enhances operational efficiency and organizational alignment.
The Chief of Staff fosters collaboration, builds trust across the enterprise, influences outcomes through diplomacy, and adapts to evolving business needs by taking on additional strategic responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Leads strategic projects and Initiatives through owning end-to-end project management for high‑impact, cross-functional initiatives to ensure timely, high‑quality execution.
Ensures Organizational Priorities Stay on Track - Maintains visibility into enterprise-wide initiatives, identifying risks, removing obstacles, and ensuring continued momentum.
Acts as a hands-on contributor: producing analysis, content, materials, and solutions rather than solely tracking others’ work.
Acts as a Strategic Thought Partner - Supports executive decision-making with insights, data, structured thinking, and objective recommendations.
Anticipates needs, streamlines workflows, and manages information and communications to enable the executive to focus on top priorities.
Moves fluidly among diverse topics, functions, and responsibilities, adapting quickly to shifting business needs; and developes and implements change management strategies that support adoption, engagement, and successful organizational transitions.
Facilitates collaboration across teams and departments to ensure alignment, communication flow, and shared accountability.
Applies Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to streamline operations, eliminate inefficiencies, and optimize workflows.
Cultivates trust and credibility across the organization to drive outcomes through collaboration, diplomacy, and influence.
Assumes additional duties and responsibilities aligned with evolving business needs and executive priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in a related field, Masters preferred.
Ten (10) years experience in Chief of Staff, strategy, operations, project management, or similar leadership roles.
Strong background in Lean, continuous improvement, or process optimization.
Demonstrated ability to execute complex initiatives with minimal guidance.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
High adaptability, resourcefulness, and willingness to roll up sleeves.
Ability to lead through influence and drive results in ambiguous or fast-paced environments.
