MARKETING DIRECTOR
The Director of Marketing is the first dedicated marketing hire at Aero Ventures and the person who will continue building out and elevating the marketing function. This role exists to establish the brand presence, digital infrastructure, content strategy, lead generation engine, and sales enablement toolkit for one of private aviation's most respected advisory firms: a business that has transacted $4B+ in aircraft across 250+ deals since 2011.
At the core of this is the Aero Ventures website and marketplace, the platform where the business’s actual buyers, sellers, and owners engage. Ensuring every listing is coordinated, every inventory status current in real time, and every visitor to that platform understood and activated across the right channel is not a maintenance task. It is the commercial engine of the marketing function, and one of the role’s most consequential ongoing responsibilities.
This is not a maintenance role. Aero Ventures is being integrated as a Bond Aviation portfolio company, and the Director of Marketing will lead that transformation, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the same standard of excellence that defines Bond while preserving Aero Ventures' distinct identity as a specialist aviation advisory and brokerage firm. The two brands are complementary, not interchangeable.
The role reports directly to the VP of Marketing at Bond Aviation and works in close coordination with the Aero Ventures advisory team and the broader Bond marketing function.
Responsibilities
A. Brand & Digital Presence
Own the complete branding of Aero Ventures as a Bond Aviation portfolio company. Visual language, tone, and brand standards consistent with Bond's luxury positioning while maintaining Aero Ventures' identity as a specialist advisory firm.
Own the Aero Ventures website in collaboration with our agency: inventory pages, service pages, team profiles, and Owner Marketplace integration.
Own ongoing marketplace management as a continuous operating responsibility, not a one-time build, every listing coordinated, every inventory status (active, pending, sold) current in real time, so the platform always reflects the true state of the book.
Establish and maintain Aero Ventures' social media presence. LinkedIn primary, Instagram secondary, with a content cadence that builds credibility, showcases inventory, and amplifies advisory expertise.
Develop and manage an email marketing program, market updates, and targeted outreach to clients and prospects as a core channel for relationship maintenance and lead nurturing.
B. Sales Enablement & Collateral
Continue to develop and enhance the full suite of Aero Ventures sales collateral, aircraft spec sheets, advisory capability decks, guides, asset finance explainers, and digital tools,
Ensure every aircraft listing reflects the actual pitch the advisory team is making to a buyer, accurate specs, compelling positioning, and the right supporting materials.
Work directly with the advisory team to understand how they sell and build materials that reflect the actual pitch, not a generic aviation brochure.
Create client-facing materials for the Owner Marketplace, onboarding guides, feature highlights, and value proposition assets for prospective portal members.
C. Lead Generation & Content
Build and manage Aero Ventures' inbound lead generation engine via website, content, social, email newsletters, and relevant aviation trade publications working together to understand who is engaging with the marketplace and activate them at the right moment in their ownership or acquisition journey.
Develop a content strategy that positions Aero Ventures as the premier intelligence source in private aviation brokerage, market commentary, aircraft type analysis, ownership cost insights, and deal expertise.
Own the performance marketing discipline behind lead generation, conversion tracking, funnel analysis, and channel-level optimization,
Own media relations for Aero Ventures, building press relationships and securing coverage that reinforces the firm’s position as a leading voice in aviation advisory and brokerage.
Build and maintain a monthly content calendar, consistent cadence across social, email, and market reports, with no gaps in output.
Support senior leadership in developing personal brand content for LinkedIn, positioning the Aero Ventures team as go-to voices in private aviation advisory.
D. Events & Industry Activation
Own Aero Ventures' presence at key industry events such as NBAA, IADA, and relevant private aviation forums, including materials, logistics, pre-event outreach, and post-event follow-up designed to generate qualified conversations for the advisory team. Trade show presence should connect directly to the broader audience-activation strategy (marketplace, social, newsletters) rather than stand alone.
Develop a small number of high-quality client events per year, intimate and deliberate, designed to deepen relationships and create introduction opportunities.
Coordinate with the Bond marketing team on cross-brand activations where appropriate.
E. Agency, Reporting & Analytics
Manage the day-to-day relationship with our agencies and any creative or digital partners — briefing, reviewing, and holding all output to the Aero Ventures brand standard.
Track and report on marketing performance — website traffic, social engagement, lead generation, content performance, and Owner Marketplace growth, providing regular updates to the VP of Marketing and Aero Ventures leadership.
Own lead tracking and attribution in Salesforce, ensuring every inbound lead is logged and visible from first touch through closed deal.
Maintain the Aero Ventures marketing board in Monday.com, aligned with the Bond marketing operating rhythm.
F. Bond Aviation — Collaboration & Shared Activities
Because this role sits within the Bond Aviation marketing organization, the Director of Marketing will periodically contribute to Bond marketing activities where capacity, subject matter, and timing make it the right call.
The Aero Ventures mandate comes first, but the two businesses share clients, aircraft expertise, and agency relationships, and there will be natural moments of collaboration across content, events, inventory, and agency coordination.
The VP of Marketing will manage the balance.
experience and skills
5–8 years of marketing experience with demonstrated ownership of a full marketing function — brand, digital, content, and sales enablement.
Experience building from a low base is more important than maintaining an established program.
Background in private aviation, luxury automotive, luxury tech, luxury hospitality, financial services, luxury real estate, or a high-value transaction environment where the audience is UHNW and the sales cycle is complex and relationship-driven.
Strong writer, able to translate technical product knowledge (aircraft specs, market data, financial structures) into compelling content without losing credibility. Writing samples will be requested at interview.
Comfortable with high-velocity content production, able to turn around a well-written aircraft listing, market update, or social post quickly and accurately.
Experience managing creative agency relationships and holding partners accountable to briefs, timelines, and quality.
Proficiency in Monday.com or equivalent project management tools, and confidence across standard digital marketing and analytics platforms.
AI fluency, comfortable using AI tools to accelerate content production, research, and creative iteration.
Existing network in private aviation, family office, or UHNW wealth management communities is a meaningful advantage.
KEY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
An owner, not an executor. Takes full responsibility for the Aero Ventures marketing function and drives it forward without needing direction on every decision.
Commercially minded. Every piece of content, every listing, and every event exists to support a high-value transaction business. Thinks in outcomes, not outputs.
Industry-curious. Genuinely interested in private aviation, aircraft markets, and the world of UHNW clients; willing to develop deep expertise in the space.
Fast and precise. Produces under deadline without sacrificing accuracy or standard. In a business where inventory changes daily, speed and correctness are equally non-negotiable.
Ambitious. Sees this role as a launchpad within a business with a $4B+ track record that is only beginning to tell its story publicly.
