Senior accountant

Specific responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the monthly filings of Dynojet and also focus on general accounting duties such as account analysis and reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, and monthly financial reporting.

Performs general accounting and other related duties including participating in the monthly closing process.
Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.
Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
Assists in filing tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
Preparation of quarterly estimated tax payments.
Oversees monthly sales and use tax computations filed by a 3 rd party provider and reconcile to the general ledger.
Sets up new tax jurisdictions.
Manages the company’s fixed assets.
Research taxability of non-routine purchases.
Prepares various analytical analysis to identify issues and propose corrective actions.
Contributes to various ad-hoc reporting requests.
Assists accounting department with various other duties.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.
At least three years of related experience required.
Must pass pre-employment background check.

Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
Ability to correctly prepare tax reports
Advanced level of Excel technical capabilities
Working conditions
On-site presence required at one of the company’s locations (Belgrade, MT or Las Vegas, NV)
